Surf and turf, the wonderful combination of red meat and seafood that makes you feel like you’ve gone to culinary heaven. Thankfully for those who live here, or just passing through, there are some fantastic options to choose from on where to go for surf and turf in Pembroke Pines.

Brimstone Woodfire Grill

With a full menu of delicious options, you’re sure to satisfy any craving at Brimstone Woodfire Grill. The atmosphere is welcoming, and someplace you could easily enjoy with friends, coworkers, or even a banquet event. In addition to the kitchen, the bar boasts an abundance of libation options as well.

Menu options include such favorites as Cedar Plank Salmon, Margarita Flatbread, Pork Chops, and Filet Mignon with various optional toppings. In addition are soups, salads, pasta, and even sushi! Reservations are recommended. 

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants

In their own words, “Founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is built upon the passionate belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections.” Their message is echoed in their wine, beer, and specialty cocktails options as well as their expansive food menu.

Speaking to their surf and turf options, they let you build your own! Meat options include Crispy Asian Pork, Parmesan Crusted Filet Medallions, Sliced Ginger Soy Glazed New York Strip, or Churrasco Grilled Steak. You can then match those with a Crab Cake, Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon, Pistachio Crusted Grouper, Mexican Drunken Shrimp, Blackened Ahi Tuna, or Potato Crusted Scallops.

Beyond surf and turf is a full menu, including flatbread, soups, salads, burgers, pasta, and more. There’s also a Life Balance Menu where all options are 600 calories or less.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

With an inviting atmosphere, scratch kitchen, and phenomenal flavors, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is an excellent choice when looking for a great surf and turf venue. They offer a Happy Hour with drink specials and bar bites as well as upscale dining with attention to superior service. Their Surf & Turf is a delicious half pound lobster tail, and 7oz bacon wrapped filet as well as a Filet & Shrimp option where the shrimp are basted in key lime butter. Tropical Acres Steakhouse

Just outside of Pembroke Pines in nearby Fort Lauderdale is Tropical Acres Steakhouse. Known as “Broward’s oldest steakhouse and seafood restaurant,” and providing an old-school charm, Tropical Acres Steakhouse has been a consistent staple in the area serving up delicious appetizers, specialties, steak, and seafood. Their Surf and Turf includes two 4oz Maine lobster tails and a 6oz filet mignon. Other selections include Spinach Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Prime Rib, Filet of Mahi Mahi, and so much more.
