Nanou Bakery, also called Boulangerie Nanou, is a French bakery and cafe with the atmosphere of a traditional French village. Specializing in bread, pastries, and fresh meals, this bakery uses traditional recipes from the South of France. Customers especially love the ambiance and the well-plated meals. You can buy breakfast items such as omelets, as well as salads, crepes, sandwiches, and other savory foods. The bakery sells artisanal French baguette, olive bread, and focaccia. Macarons, croissants, muffins, sweet crepes, and other sweet treats are also on the menu.

Honeybee Sweetery — European Bakery & Cafe, a cozy little place in Fort Lauderdale charmingly dressed up in bee decor, uses authentic European recipes as well as North and South American classics. Honeybee Sweetery uses natural ingredients such as Belgian chocolate, seasonal fruits, fresh butter, cream, and eggs. It’s known for having delicious buttercream that resembles fondant.

Croissan’Time has been a local fixture in Fort. Lauderdale since French immigrant Bernard Casse opened the bakery in 1986. Diners enjoy the French bread made in full view, as well as pies, cakes, tarts, pastries, cookies, fine chocolates, and the signature macaroons. Savory foods include quiches, crepes, pizzas, sandwiches, and more. You can also buy cheeses, deli meats, caviar, merguez, and wines from around the world, especially France. This authentic French bakery cafe also provides live music from the Toasted Grains on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
