  1. CroissanTime

CruissanTime has been using homemade recipes to baked golden baked croissants from scratch since 1986. The European deli and bakery are known for their signature ‘natural color’ macaroons, as well as their eclairs, tiramisu, rum beba, sacher, and more. For a small bite, try one of their mini pastries, such as the chocolate or truffles versions or indulge in the many freshly baked cookies, such as the Madeleines, almond tuile, and raspberry heart. An entire line of Grand-Cru chocolate bonbons is made with Valrhona chocolates.

In addition to CroissanTime’s wide selection of baked goods, the bakery also serves sandwiches, charcuterie platters, foie gras, 75 different kinds of cheese, and salads. Sit back and listen to live music as you enjoy your meal or dessert on Saturdays and Sundays.

Named the bakery with the “Best Cupcake” by South Florida Food and Wine Festival, as well as Fort Lauderdale Daily, Sweeter Days Bake Shop has an assortment of freshly baked goods that will satisfy your sweet tooth. One of their most well-known cupcakes, the salted caramel cupcake, is comprised of a white cupcake that is topped with a caramel drizzle, Hawaiian sea salt, and praline crunch. Equally as delicious is the Boston Cream cupcake, which is a marble cake filled with sweet Bavarians cream and topped with Swiss chocolate.

If you’re celebrating with a crowd, order their almond amaretto cake, which is a vanilla bean cake with almond amaretto icing and filling. For a refreshing baked good, opt for the Key lime coconut cake with Key lime buttercream and Key lime curd.

Nanouc Bakery is a provincial French bakery that specializes in provincial bread, viennoiseries, and dishes made from the freshest ingredients. The gourmet bakery has a cozy atmosphere and serves up delicious almond croissants, Nutella crepes, macarons, meringues, and more. For breakfast, try their cinnamon roll or for an afternoon sweet treat opt for an apple turnover. Pick up am artisanal French baguette, a loaf of country bread, or olive bread to take home to accompany your dinner.

In addition to their large selection of freshly baked goods, the bakery also serves quiche Lorraine, Italian salad, Pan Bagnat, and espresso drinks.
