1. Roasting Buddies

This roasting emporium, located on Pines Avenue, is an old-world coffee shop that actually roasts its coffee. The owner, a master roaster, came to Pembroke Pines from Colombia, where he had studied blending, brewing, and roasting. Roasting Buddies is the only roaster location in this area.

In addition to fantastic fresh-roasted coffee and special hot chocolate, Roasting Buddies has a menu that offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks. One offering is the buddy brio, a mini pie with different types of fillings such as ham and cheese or spinach. There’s a good amount of parking and the café has tables and couches for your visit.

2. Mystic Coffee

If you’re all about healthy ingredients, this cozy little coffee shop is for you. They offer a large selection of coffees, teas, and immunity beverages as well as all kinds of organic baked goods to choose from. People are surprised to learn that they make all of their homemade treats without sugar. In fact, they have various baked selections that are gluten-free, vegan, and keto-friendly.

Mystic Coffee’s staff are friendly folks who care about their customers. It’s close to the beach on Harrison Street and is dog-friendly. They even offer a selection of dog treats.

3. Neutral Ground Café

Located on SR 84 close to the Tower Shops, this popular spot is a little tricky to find but worth it. The owners are welcoming and the prices are reasonable. They offer an ample choice of delicious coffees and other beverages as well as lunch items and unique pastries.

Neutral Ground was designed by the owner Robert and his wife to be a New Orleans-like experience. Robert and his family personally take care of their customers and many people visit the café to interact with them. There is a good amount of parking and the café is clean with plenty of tables and comfortable couches.

4. Vaniglia & Cioccolato in Pembroke Pines FL

This cute, very Italian café, located on Pines Boulevard, has many offerings to choose from. In addition to its coffee bar with cappuccinos, lattes, and other authentic Italian beverages, Vaniglia & Cioccolato is known for its fantastic gelatos and ice cream. These treats are all made without corn syrup or coloring agents.

The owner came here directly from Italy and it shows in the café’s many Italian beverages and desserts. They’re open from 2 pm to 10 pm, more skewed towards the theater and night-owl crowd. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.
